HIGH FLYERS
SUNDAY HERALD SUN (SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA)
13 OCTOBER 2002

Kilted Duncan (actor Hamish Clark) of Monarch of the Glen heads to Australia later this month to promote tourism to Scotland.

The actor recently spent several months in the soaring highlands and glens around Fort Williams on Scotland’s scenic west coast where a fourth series of the highly rated Monarch was filmed.

The new series goes to air on ABC-TV early in the new year.

Hamish heads here to give Australians with a Scottish heritage an insight into how they can track down their ancestors. Customs will not allow the bloody mix of haggis into the country, but Hamish may treat friends here to an Oz-style version. And there will be the inevitable skirl of bagpipes.
